Free Train-the-Trainer Physical Fitness Classes Run July 27-September 26 at Shoelace Park

Starting July 27, Bronx Community Health Network is launching FREE Physical Fitness Train-the-Trainer Classes in Shoelace Park on Mondays and Thursdays, led by fitness specialist N'Namdi Nelson.

The series, created by BCHN's Bronx REACH Champs Parks & Open Spaces Coalition and running through September 26, is designed for local community champions who wish to learn how to teach physical fitness classes. The class meets weekly in the park. Students attending at least 75% of classes will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the series.

Where: Shoelace Park, Bronx, NY
Meeting place: In the park at Bronx Boulevard and 219th Street
Dates: July 27 – September 26 2017 (Monday and Thursday evenings)
Time: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Transportation: 2, 5 trains to the East 219th Street/White Plains Road sStation, or Bx39 Bus to White Plains Road and East 219th Street

Be sure to wear comfortable clothing, and bring water. Look for the "Bronx REACH Champs" sign in the park.
